| Centrally located
in Bromsgrove the centre offers modern facilities with
educational and recreational activities. Within the
centre the facilities lend themselves to a computer/keyboard
study room, music and art therapy room, a bright conservatory
for discussion /topics of interest, a life skill programme
room and a snoezelen room which is relaxation through
gentle stimulation.
We also offer our services within the
local community such as swimming, shopping, day trips,
visiting the local park or places of interest etc.
In conjuction with families, carers,
social workers and other relevant professionals each
client has a comprehensive assessment to ensure that
their individual needs are identified and met.
With our dedicated, experienced staff
team we offer the opportunity for individuals to lead
stimulating, challenging lives and to explore and experience
new skills by making their own choices and decisions
however large or small and have a greater role within
the community.
All Care packages will be reviewed
on a monthly basis for the first six months then three
monthly unless identified otherwise.
We offer intensive support which can
be two staff to one client or one to one support. We
also offer a flexible group session of four clients
to one staff member. Therefore the service can be tailor
made to suit your requirements.
Where appropriate feeding aids are
used in conjuction with the individual's life skills
programme.
We have our own transport which can
collect clients within our sessional times and also
take back home. The transport is equipped with a tail
lift and has facilities for the clamping of wheelchairs
to ensure access to community facilities.
