The meaning of Snoezelen is:
"Specially designed environment
where well-being is to be caused by controllable multi-sensorial
stimuli"
Join us at the Amber Centre to explore
a wonderful world in our multi – sensory environment
full of lights, sounds, aromas and textures.
This safe non-threatening, yet stimulating
environment meets the needs of individuals with severe
sensory impairment, autism or multiple disabilities.
Individuals experience self-control,
exploration, enhanced self-esteem and reduction of tension.
The room is used to promote learning or for relaxation.
